Not Really much of a comment. Sorry.
Looks like you're gonna have to try it out and see for yourself.
I will leave a small comment (less than 1kbyte) which is:
Both your choices are SATA II ( I assume 3GB) so the absolute best you could hope for (with perfect scaling) is almost the same as SATA6.

Not to awaken dead topics but maybe soon I shall have 2 x 120GB SSD SATA6G.
The Kingston SVP200S3/120G to be exact.
Sandforce Controller, specs say 555MB/sec read etc.
That remains to be seen when I get them....
